About the Opportunity

Landcom has an exciting opportunity for a Microsoft 365 Specialist to join our friendly and collaborative IT team in a permanent full-time capacity.

Reporting to the Applications Delivery Manager, this role is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, testing, deploying, and continuously enhancing Landcom's Microsoft 365 ecosystem; including SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Power BI, Azure, and Dynamics 365.

This is a true all-rounder role for a Microsoft 365 specialist who thrives on more than just maintaining systems. While smooth sailing is great, we're looking for someone who will engage with the business, understand its needs, analyse insights, and apply learnings to tailor and improve our system environments.

You'll be a key technical contributor and strategic partner, helping Landcom stay ahead of the curve. For the right candidate, this role may also offer the exciting opportunity to engage with AI tools to help ensure Landcom is future ready.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse business needs and recommend tailored Microsoft 365 solutions
  • Design and document high-level system specifications
  • Build scalable solutions using SharePoint Online, SPFx, and Power Platform
  • Respond to support and enhancement requests, ensuring user-friendly outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Present solutions to the Architecture Review Board for endorsement
  • Apply fixes and enhancements following change management protocols
  • Estimate development effort and deliver high-quality releases
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation across Microsoft 365 platforms

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, the successful applicant will require relevant technical skills, and will also need to be proactive, bring a can-do attitude and demonstrate a keen interest in providing solutions to enable Landcom to achieve its objectives.

Ideally, you will have the following experience:

  • Minimum recent 3 years' experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform development
  • Minimum recent 2 years' experience with .NET technologies
  • Experience with SPFx Framework, TypeScript, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, JSON, REST
  • Experience developing solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft identity, Microsoft Graph, and PnP PowerShell
  • Development experience using C#, .NET, SQL Server
  • Experience with Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio 2017/2022
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
  • A user-centric mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience in Property, Construction or Government (desirable)
  • Microsoft certifications (desirable)
