Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Behaviour Support Practitioner, located in Sydney, NSW. The Behaviour Support Practitioner will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized behavior support plans, conducting assessments, and providing interventions to clients with disabilities. The role includes working collaboratively with clients, their families, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes. The Practitioner will also maintain accurate records, report progress, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Assessment and intervention skills in behavior support
- Experience in developing and implementing individualized behavior support plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of the National Standards for Disability Services
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in behavior support practices
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
