Are you a chef at heart but a hunter in sales?
Moffat is looking for a driven Sales Manager / Application Chef – National Accounts who can combine culinary expertise with sales tenacity to win new business and build long-term client relationships. This is a hands-on, national role where you'll showcase your food knowledge, run product demonstrations, and secure new opportunities with some of Australia's biggest names in foodservice.

About the Role
This is a hunter-style sales role – ideal for someone with a chef background who has successfully transitioned into sales. You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, achieving sales targets, and providing hands-on training and application support to our national account customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively hunt for and secure new business opportunities
- Achieve and exceed sales budgets and margin targets
- Build long-term customer relationships while developing new accounts
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations, testing, and training (in test kitchens or on-site)
- Work collaboratively with product managers and the sales team to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Provide post-sales training and ongoing customer support
- Track competitor activity and share market insights
- Maintain accurate CRM records, reporting, and documentation
About You
- A qualified chef background (essential) – you understand kitchens and foodservice operations
- Proven sales experience, ideally in foodservice, hospitality, or equipment
- A hunter mindset – proactive, results-driven, and resilient
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to deliver tailored solutions
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
