Ever wanted to get into Freight Forwarding Sales, but not sure where to start? We have an opportunity to work for a well-established Consolidator where you will learn your sales craft selling directly to other Freight Forwarders, so there is already a relationship with majority of the clients. This company provide air and seafreight forwarding services, directly to other Freight Forwarders, so there is an opportunity to put your Operations / Customer Service skills to good use and establish yourself as a dynamic Sales professional.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within their Sales division for an individual with a background in Customer Service or Operations within the international forwarding industry. You will be trained and mentored by the Managing Director to enable you to learn all the tricks of the trade to be able to secure new business and build a successful career within the International Freight Forwarding industry. There is definitely no expectation that you will have business to bring across with you, just the willingness to succeed in this highly competitive market. This organisation will supply you with the all the training and ongoing support to ensure your week is productive. If you are presently working within the international forwarding market, feel you are limited with your scope due to company service constraints, or size, or lack of direction, this could be the break you have been looking for.

Essential Skills Required

  • Experience gained within the international freight forwarding industry - within an operational, customer service or sales support capacity
  • Good PC skills - general knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Confident personality - confidence to meet with clients face to face and maximise each visit
  • The drive to succeed in Sales
