Bindara Group is a proudly Indigenous-owned and growing provider of trade, maintenance, and project services across local government, social housing, and commercial sectors. We partner with industry-leading facilities maintenance providers and hold recurring contracts that support long-term service delivery across Australia.

Due to continued growth and new contracts, we are currently seeking Handypersons and Carpenters to join our maintenance team and deliver high-quality work across a variety of maintenance and project sites.

About the Role

As our new Handyperson and/or Carpenter , you will:

  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance
  • Support estimating and quoting of works
  • Deliver project works
  • Ensure all work is compliant with relevant codes and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records, including job notes
  • Communicate with clients and supervisors to deliver outstanding service
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet timeframes and quality expectations

What You Will Bring

  • Sound knowledge of standards, and OH&S requirements
  • Strong problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Experience in maintenance preferred
  • White Card and valid driver's licence
  • Working with Children Check and Police Check, or willingness to obtain
