This position may entail performing duties of a similar nature at other Monash Health Sites.

- Carry out compliance and improvement against the key elements of quality and safety
- Be responsible for quality of care at work site
- Conducts a regular inspection of the building fabric to prioritise maintenance effort
- Maintenance tasks as required
- Cooperate with other trades in the workshop to undertake handyperson duties when required
- Respond to client maintenance requests
- Actively participate/organise with procurement of materials
- Utilise PULSE software for work management and reporting
- Ensure that statutory and OH&S regulations and requirements are carried out in accordance with the Maintenance Coordinator’s instructions.
- Organise and maintain the handyperson workshop such that it is safe and appropriate to implement the works, including ordering and receiving of materials.
- This is a multi-disciplinary role, undertaking painting, minor repairs and maintenance as directed.

**About You**
- Participate and co-operate in consultative processes to improve health and safety.
- Observe safe working practices and as far as you are able, protect your own and others’ health and safety.
- Complete all necessary personal training and professional development requirements.

**What You Need**:
Qualifications/ registrations/ licences
- Motor car drivers licence
- Relevant trade qualifications, carpentry/painter/locksmith or similar.

Technical skills/ knowledge / experience
- Competency in a similar role
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer usage skills
- Ability to prioritise work and adapt to fluctuating workloads
- Australian working rights
