What does the job look like?

As the Operations Processing Coordinator you will play an integral part in supporting the operations of our Intermodal Business Unit in Laverton North VIC to ensure site administrative and financial operations are completed efficiently and in line with customer requirements. This is a full time permanent role working Monday - Friday on afternoon shift commencing at 4:00pm until 12:00pm. Key areas:

  • Assist with daily cross-dock operations including delivery coordination and outbound load planning
  • Liase with drivers to coordinate vehicle movements in and out of the dock
  • Maintain and update site administration processes including documented procedures for operational areas
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners to ensure any service issues are resolved efficiently
  • Proactively engage with customers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
  • Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting, including KPI tracking and analysis of profitability and variance reports
  • Reconcile and manage distribution records (PODs, run sheets, manifests) to support accurate customer invoicing

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an warehouse or operational related role, preferably within the logistics/transport industry
  • Experience using relevant systems including SAP, MT Data & the Microsoft office suite
  • Proven experience in payroll/financial administration and training, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors, drivers and stakeholders
