Regis Resources is an ASX 200-listed Perth based gold production and exploration company with a proven management team and a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations. Regis is a purely Australian gold miner with significant open pit and underground operations, which includes the 100% owned Duketon Gold Project and a 30% ownership of the Tropicana Gold Project, both in Western Australia. The current mine site locations are in the Northeastern Goldfields of WA, with multiple mining operations both open pit and underground. Job Description
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Process Technician, to join our Garden Well operation. Reporting to the Processing Supervisor, you'll work cooperatively with peers and management and have a strong desire to do things safely and efficiently. Your enthusiastic approach to problem solving, self-motivation and initiative to exceed expectations will ensure successful work outcomes for you and your team.

This is a site based role, working on an 8:6 / 7:7 FIFO roster.

About The Role

  • Inspecting the workplace to identify and correct hazards and equipment failures
  • Undertaking regular sampling, testing and other quality control activities
  • Adjusting the process to meet production parameters
  • Starting up, shutting down, monitoring and adjusting the production process
  • Learning appropriate responses to malfunctions or anomalies in the production process
  • Maintaining accurate records of sampling/quality control
  • General housekeeping including cleaning of fixed plant, control rooms and company vehicles.

About You
Desired Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated record of safe operating experience in a mining environment
  • Process Technician experience an advantage but not a prerequisite
  • Mobile plant experience (skid steer, integrated tool carrier, overhead crane and front-end loader) with tickets an advantage
  • A current Australian manual driver's licence.
