Recruitment Consultant

We are currently seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our high performing health and safety recruitment team in Sydney or Melbourne

Established in 2005 with offices nationally, our specialist health and safety recruitment team provide recruitment and consulting solutions throughout Australia. We partner with our valued clients providing specialist health, wellbeing, safety, workers compensation, risk and environmental consulting services.

Stakeholder management, relationship building, and business development/sales skills are also other crucial factors for your success in this role. Your daily tasks include:

• Develop new business through consistent sales activity and maintain industry networks and your personal brand
• Negotiate and close commercial terms and conditions with clients aligned to company policy
• Deliver to client expectations
• Accountable for the complete end to end (360) recruitment process including but not limited to; running job briefs with client, assessing sourcing channels and advertising, resume review, telephone screening, shortlist for interview and assessment, conducting face to face or video behavioural, motivational & skill based interviews, functional and technical skills testing, interview support for hiring managers if required, references and pre employment checks, offer management, support client onboarding activities, performance management and retention tasks.

Your background

This is a recruitment role with a heavy focus on sales and candidate management, to be successful you will need to demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a 360-recruitment role (New business development and candidate management)
• Previous HSEQ recruitment experience is essential (or are you a Tradie, Site Lead or even a Supervisor in construction, FM or manufacturing looking to break into recruitment?)
• Sales and client relationship management experience
• Ability to introduce and manage innovative staffing solutions
• Ability to meet KPIs set by your manager around connected phone calls with clients/candidates, interviews, client meetings, new job orders etc.
• Persuasion & influencing skills
• Relationship building skills
• Polished, well presented, articulate, professional with strong communications skills (your Hiring Managers will be CEOs, Head of Safety etc)
• Solid organizational skills
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
• You will be ambitious, honest, collaborative team player, resilient and a go getter not afraid to pick up the phone and speak with candidates and clients, enjoy sales activities and chasing down that next placement and job to fill.
