Role Overview

We are looking for a 
Technical Business Analyst
 with strong expertise in 
HR systems and data migration projects
. The role requires close collaboration with business and technology teams to ensure successful migration, transformation, and validation of critical HR data while maintaining compliance and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business and IT stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for HR system and data migration projects.
  • Lead or support data migration processes including data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Partner with data architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
  • Support system configuration, integration testing, UAT, and deployment activities.
  • Conduct gap analysis between legacy and target HR systems, proposing fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Develop documentation including data flow diagrams, process models, and data dictionaries.
  • Provide input on data governance, security, and compliance for employee data.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver clear, timely project updates.
  • Perform impact analysis of changes on existing processes and systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including 2+ years in data migration initiatives.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP).
  • Skilled in Excel, SQL, data mapping utilities, and BA collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ETL workflows, data validation, and reconciliation techniques.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
