We are currently seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our top performing HSEQ team, based at the Glebe Head Office with regular travel including ad-hoc FIFO swings. This pivotal role will see you provide expert Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) advice to both corporate and project teams, ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards while driving continuous improvement.
Supporting our company offices and project sites, you'll play a key role in maintaining our industry-leading safety performance, supporting external audits, and enhancing our integrated management systems.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level HSEQ advisory support across both office and site operations.
Competently undertake internal HSEQ audits and lead external accreditation audits, ensuring timely follow-up and action closeout.
Support the preparation of tender responses, particularly for HSEQ-related documentation and submissions.
Conduct incident investigations using root cause analysis and ensure lessons learned are effectively implemented.
Assist in maintaining and improving Liberty Industrial's management systems and certification processes.
Facilitate monthly licensing meetings and ensure all company licences remain current and compliant.
Support training and development initiatives for HSEQ personnel, including mentoring and professional development.
Provide R&R relief for project-based HSEQ teams, offering consistent leadership and advisory support.
Liaise with clients, regulators, and auditors to maintain transparent and productive relationships.
About You
You're an experienced and proactive HSEQ professional who thrives in both office and site environments. You enjoy working collaboratively and building trusted relationships across all levels of the business.
The successful applicant will have:
Strong HSEQ advisory experience across Health, Safety, Environment and Quality in construction, demolition, or civil industries.
Demonstrated ability to lead and conduct internal and external audits, including accreditation and compliance audits.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Experience contributing to HSEQ sections of tenders and project documentation.
Willingness to travel and provide FIFO coverage and relief on project sites.
A results-driven mindset with a continuous improvement focus.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and prior experience in a similar role within the civil, remediation or demolition sectors.
