Our client is a growing manufacturing business with their Head Office based at Wacol. They are now looking for a Financial Controller to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage consolidated accounts
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax preparation
  • Consolidate end-of-month financial reports
  • Lead budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Supervise and provide strategic direction for the global finance teams.
  • Oversee yearly audit and liaise with external auditors
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, reporting, and operational efficiency.

About You:

You're an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial reporting, tax compliance, and budgeting. You thrive in a fast-paced global environment, have an analytical mindset, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
  • Experience with ERP's
  • Ability to manage and support finance teams across multiple locations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
  • Managing tax submissions and preparing financial statements for audit.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CA or CPA accreditation.
  • Big 4 background ideal
  • 5 years as a Financial Controller, ideally in a supervisory role within a commercial environment.
  • Experience in financial management within a multinational organisation or an established manufacturing/distribution business.
  • Inventory experience an advantage
