Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly financial reports, including analysis and commentary on variances, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash forecasts. They will also assist with budgeting and forecasting, prepare reports for stakeholders, and ensure compliance with relevant requirements.

Key responsibilities include working on payroll accounting for a complex organization, executing transactions such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, and settlements, and performing general ledger control and checks. The role requires dealing directly with clients and providing solutions to complex queries, supporting the Team Lead in training and daily reviews, and escalating issues when necessary.

Additional tasks include conducting quality checks and quality analysis programs, managing knowledge based on inputs from different stakeholders, participating in ideation and reengineering of processes, and training team members on the same. The role also involves updating trackers to monitor volumes, utilization, and providing support in process optimization, adhering to assigned SLAs for all activities in scope, and liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders to resolve pending items.

Requirements include a good knowledge of financial statements preparation and Australian Accounting Standards (AAS), sound knowledge of Procure to Pay, Order to Cash & Record to Report processes, and proven ability to accurately reconcile general ledger and payroll-related accounts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with high-level attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Culturally appropriate communication skills are required to interact with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
