Personal Assistant to the Heads of Senior School and Middle School

About the role
Leading independent girls' school, Camberwell Girls Grammar School, presents an opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to join our Professional Services team on a full-time, ongoing basis. The hours of the role is Monday to Friday from 8.00am-4.00pm.

Reporting to the Heads of Middle and Senior School, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth and professional operation of the Secondary School campus. You will organise and manage the daily schedules, communications, and administrative tasks for the two Heads of School.

You will make an impact by:

• Providing administrative assistance and diary support, including calendar management.
• Managing and responding to emails and telephone enquiries, and preparing and distributing correspondence, newsletters, and reports.
• Assisting the Head of School in all administrative aspects of student welfare management processes.
• Drafting, proofreading, and distributing professional correspondence and reports.
• Maintaining accurate records, databases, and student files.
• Assisting in the coordination and organisation of events such as School Assemblies, Presentation Evenings, Valedictory events and student Transition Days/Orientation Programs.

Your strong administrative skills, combined with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enable you to build effective working relationships with ease. You are organised, detail-focused, and maintain the highest levels of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity when handling sensitive information related to students and staff.

You will have:

• Previous experience as a Personal Assistant (essential).
• Previous experience within a School environment is highly desirable.
• First Aid qualification, CPR qualification and Anaphylaxis Awareness qualification or willingness to obtain these.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current Criminal Record Check.
