ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting time for Cricket Australia. In this new role as
Head of Commercial Customer & Digital Growth role within our Broadcast & Commercial department
you will be responsible for leading a newly created small team charged with growing and further commercialising Cricket Australia's digital ecosystem.

You will work hand-in-hand with the Chief Commercial Officer to bring technology and solutions to transform CA's commercial program and implement CA's overarching commercial strategy, to drive revenue growth, particularly in the digital space, and maximise customer value.

We are seeking someone with excellent stakeholder management skills, who will work closely with departments across Cricket Australia, including Technology, CX, Marketing, Digital and Data, with a focus to align, strengthen and commercialise the relationship between customer and partner objectives, to build a world-class customer and product experience for our fans and participants.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will also be responsible for:

  • Drive sustainable revenue growth by developing and executing innovative digital commercial strategies.

  • Deliver impactful digital outcomes across partnerships, audience platforms, brand campaigns, and third-party programs.

  • Maximize digital revenue by optimizing existing digital assets and identify new opportunities, while strengthening partner relationships.

  • Support the pursuit and execution of new business ventures, exploring innovative business models and strategic partnership opportunities.

  • Champion a culture of innovation, creative thinking and adoption of new technologies to enhance commercial outcomes.
  • Prepare and present insightful data-driven reporting on commercial performance to senior management

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the successful Head of Commercial Customer & Digital Growth you will have a proven record of driving results and a strong passion for sport and digital innovation. You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor or Masters degree) in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years' proven success in commercial, business development, brand management or a related discipline.

  • Proven leader with ability to inspire, motivate, and empower teams to achieve ambitious goals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

  • Confidently able to build high-value commercial relationships
  • Strategic and creative thinker, with results focussed mindset
  • Strong track record in identifying and converting digital sales opportunities, including branded content, media inventory, and sponsorship assets.
  • Demonstrated expertise to craft and execute contemporary commercial strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic and at times, ambiguous environments, expertly balancing multiple priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial and technological landscape within the sporting industry; experience in customer experience advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven analysis and problem-solving skills
