Medea Park is looking for a skilled and hands-on Clinical Manager to join our team. If you have proven expertise and you are passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes, then this could be your perfect role.

In this role you will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of all aspects of Medea Park Association Inc.   You will embody our Values of Inclusiveness, Integrity, Unity, and Accountability which means you will lead by example, inspire with integrity and fully understand strategic objectives.

Essential

  • Registered Nurse with minimum of 5 years experience in aged care, including senior leadership roles.
  • Appropriate National Police Check
  • Valid Driver's License

Desirable

Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing Management, Health Administration, or relevant related field

Key Requirements

  1. Undertake shifts and analyse clinical data to identify trends or opportunities for improvement
  2. Work with management to develop and oversee a robust clinical governance framework aligned with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) Standards
  3. Ensure policies and procedures reflect best practice, person centred care and risk mitigation
  4. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and clinical excellence
  5. Work collaboratively with the COO to prepare for audits and reviews to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards
  6. Maintain accurate and timely reporting systems for incidents, audits, and quality indicators
  7. Promote a culture of responsibility for completing documentation accurately and within required timeframes
  8. Participate in the annual performance review process in accordance with our performance management policy and processes
  9. Work with the COO to achieve quality improvement initiatives that enhance resident outcomes and staff engagement
  10. Work collaboratively with the COO to report regularly to stakeholders on clinical performance and compliance
  11. Mentor and support clinical staff to uphold high standards of care
  12. Assess and deliver training programs on clinical governance, compliance, and quality
  13. Work with HR to ensure all staff maintain current competencies relevant to their roles
  14. Work with the COO and HR to determine staffing and recruitment needs
  15. Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and leaders to ensure practices align with organisational standards, Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards, and Resident needs
  16. Support effective communication and engagement with residents and families to promote trust and transparency
  17. Maintain respectful and professional interactions with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, contributing to positive relationships and effective communication in support of broader organisational goals.
