- Advanced knowledge of evaluation methodologies
- Extensive experience in designing and delivering evaluation projects end to end
- Strong project management skills, including ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, deliver on time and on budget.
- High level skills in written communication with the ability to synthesise evidence from multiple methods to answer evaluation questions and clearly articulate evaluative arguments.

The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) leads innovation in clinical care across NSW. We do this by bringing clinicians, patients and healthcare managers together to design and implement new ways to deliver healthcare.

**What you will be doing**

The Evaluation Manager will provide leadership, direction and oversight of evaluation projects including both large system transformations or government priority projects and smaller scale program, such as pilot and projects suitable to rapid evaluations.

The evaluation manager will deliver a comprehensive evaluation workplan.

The evaluation work includes framing and planning evaluations, including selection of appropriate methods and development of data collection tools, and delivering evaluations end-to-end via data collection and analysis across a range of quantitative and qualitative methods, synthesis and reporting into evaluation reports.

The evaluation manager will be responsible for ensuring evaluation projects are managed according to expected timeframes and scope including quality control and the delivery of high-quality evaluation reports that inform decision making and improvement.

This role will liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the evaluation work is relevant and appropriate. A key function of this role will be to provide expert advice and build evaluation capability of ACI staff and program teams.

**Remuneration**: $137,173.00 - $163,431.00 per annum excluding Superannuation
**Hours Per Week**: 40 (38 standard + 2hrs toward ADO)

**Selection Criteria / Questions**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or health related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in conducting evaluation projects end-to-end, from the initial framing, to data collection, synthesis and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in evaluation framing, including developing program logic and targeted key evaluation questions as well as identifying an appropriate evaluation approach and mix of methods.
- Demonstrated skills in qualitative and quantitative methods, including designing robust interview and survey questionnaires, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis.
