About the role

As Head of Planning, Performance & Insights, you'll lead the strategic engine that powers marketing decision making across HBF.

You'll oversee and contribute to marketing planning, performance analysis, and customer and market insights, helping our teams make smarter, faster and more impactful choices.

You'll connect the dots across strategy, analytics, and creativity driving evidence-based decisions that shape our brand, enhance member experience and fuel growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead marketing strategy and planning: drive annual and quarterly marketing planning cycles, ensuring strategy is anchored in robust data and member insights.
  • Champion performance and effectiveness: Oversee brand health tracking, media performance, and marketing ROI, empowering the team with actionable intelligence.
  • Shape brand and member intelligence: Synthesise research, customer feedback and market data to reveal trends and opportunities that inform business strategy.
  • Enhance marketing operations: Optimise processes, tools and technologies that support planning, campaign delivery and agency collaboration.
  • Inspire and lead: Coach, develop and mentor a small, high-performing team, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration and continuous improvement.

About You

You're a seasoned marketing leader who thrives at the intersection of data, creativity, and strategy. With a passion for translating data into meaningful stories that drive decision-making and influence stakeholders, you turn information into insight, and insight into action,

You bring:

  • Several years' experience leading marketing strategy or insights functions in complex organisations.
  • Confidence managing agency relationships and marketing investments with accountability for performance outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills with the ability to bring people along on the journey of transformation.
  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, business, analytics or a related discipline.
