As the Head of Audit, Risk & Compliance, you will lead the strategic execution of Audit's assurance to senior stakeholders and the Board, to deliver insights that supports strong risk and compliance management at NAB.

As a Head of, you will join the Internal Audit team that's focused on keeping it simple.
In this Head of role, you will:
- Develop the annual audit plan and oversee the execution of the plan.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry peers, and internal stakeholders to maintain knowledge of emerging risks and best practices.
- Represent Audit in first line risk forums/committees.
- Contribute to strategic assurance initiatives to ensure Audit is delivering assurance that is best in market, integrating AI, automation, data analytics and continuous monitoring to deliver scalable, risk-focused audits.
- Lead, coach and mentor the portfolio audit team, foster technical capability development, innovation, and a high-performance culture.
- Provision of insights and advice to Audit Executives, Senior Management through to the Board Risk and Board Audit Committee.
What you will bring
- Experienced professional with tertiary education and/or risk/assurance experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey expectations and influence improved outcomes.
- Assurance and/or Risk management and compliance capability.
- Ability to distil and communicate audit insights.
- Proven track record in managing high performing teams and managing complex change.
- Significant breadth of leadership, stakeholder management and influencing experience.
