About the Role:

We are looking for a collaborative and energetic individual to join our dedicated and friendly HR team

The Senior Human Resources Consultant delivers quality advice on a wide variety of complex HR issues to internal clients across the Department for Environment and Water. This includes recruitment strategy, retention, classification, performance management/enhancement and change management.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced HR team, providing advice aligned with legislation, policy and industry best practice.
  • A passion for building relationships and supporting leaders on a range of people management issues.
  • Ability to research and interpret workforce data and provide strategies or solutions for leaders to achieve best business outcomes.

Contract:
Contract for 2 Years. Flexibility and part time job share options may be considered.

Special Conditions:

  • May be required to work outside of the normal hours of work and may be required to undertake intra state travel.
  • May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
  • This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. A satisfactory National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment.

Remuneration:
ASO5 $85,790 min - $95,413 max p.a.
