AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold exploration and development company with big plans underway. We currently operate the Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and are preparing to ramp up operations at our Nullagine Gold Project.

About the Role

As we continue to grow and advance our portfolio, we are seeking a Senior Resource Geologist to play a key role in shaping the geological foundations of our success. Reporting to the Exploration & Development Manager, this position will lead the estimation and reporting of the Company's Mineral Resources, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with JORC standards.

You will be part of a passionate and collaborative team, providing specialist support to both exploration and operations while driving continuous improvement in data quality, modelling and resource estimation.

This role is based in our West Perth office, working Monday to Friday, with occasional travel to site as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain high-quality Mineral Resource models for all Company projects.
  • Act as the Competent Person for Mineral Resource reporting under the JORC Code.
  • Optimise estimation parameters, methodologies and workflows.
  • Provide technical guidance and resource modelling support to the Mine Geology and Engineering teams.
  • Contribute to due diligence, QA/QC audits, database management and data quality initiatives.
  • Assist the Exploration Team with drill program design and data capture improvements.
  • Support operational and business development opportunities through resource evaluation and project review.
  • Undertake additional geological and technical duties as directed by the Exploration & Development Manager.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications in geostatistics desirable).
  • Minimum 10 years' experience across exploration and production geology, including at least 2 years in Mineral Resource Estimation and JORC reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a Competent Person for the reporting of Mineral Resources.
  • Strong working knowledge of QA/QC, data validation and geostatistical modelling techniques.
  • Proficiency in 3D geological modelling software (Leapfrog Geo, Micromine) and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Scripting skills in Python, TCL or VBA highly regarded.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across exploration, mine geology and engineering teams.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
