We're seeking a driven Senior Underground Geologist to take ownership of key geological activities across one of Australia's most impressive underground operations on a family-friendly 8:6 roster. You'll play a pivotal role in grade control, mine reconciliation, and driving best practice across the team.

Role Requirements:

  • Lead all mine geology activities, ensuring efficient ore tracking and high-quality geological data.
  • Oversee diamond drill schedules and resource model updates to support mine planning.
  • Deliver geological reconciliations and provide operational advice to minimise dilution and maximise ore recovery.
  • Coach and mentor a capable team of Geologists and Technicians, fostering technical excellence.
  • Contribute to site budgets, cost management and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You're a technically strong, hands-on Geologist who thrives in an underground environment and enjoys working closely with operations. You're curious, proactive and driven to deliver results while building a high performing team. 

What you'll bring:

  • 6+ years' mining experience, with experience in Underground Gold operations.
  • Strong skills in grade control, modelling, and reconciliation (Leapfrog experience preferred).
  • A solid understanding of the full mining cycle, exploration to production.
  • Proven leadership capability with the ability to mentor and develop others.
  • A tertiary qualification in Geology, current manual driver's licence, and recent NPC.
