We are currently seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our team at the Ulan Coal Mines complex, a short drive from the picturesque town of Mudgee. This opportunity offers a country like residential lifestyle while not foregoing the facilities and conveniences of a major city.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high level of technical support and expert advice across a range of standard software products and installed infrastructure.
  • Apply technical expertise and a strong methodical approach to resolve system issues and achieve maximum uptime.
  • Work with the IT Team Leader to manage third party service providers, vendors and business users to deliver effective and efficient IT services.

What We're Looking For:

  • Industry qualifications (MTA/MCSA/MCSE/CCNA) are desirable.
  • Considerable experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and server technologies, Active Directory Administration, TCP/IP, routing protocols and general networking fundamentals.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of PABX systems, PC hardware, fibre optic and copper cabling and wireless/mesh radio technologies is desirable.
