Responsibilities

Providing one-on-one support to clients with a range of disabilities, Our participants require a variety of support services tailored to their individual needs. This may include assistance with personal care, daily living tasks, mobility, medication management, meal preparation, and community engagement. Some roles also involve capacity building, promoting independence, or supporting and managing behaviours of concern. You may help with household duties such as cleaning and cooking, or facilitate access to social and recreational activities. Each role gives you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, supporting individuals to achieve their goals while building relationships.

Qualifications

  • Australian Driver License
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Medication Certificate
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, Individual Support, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as a support worker, or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Have excellent communication skills and a passion for making a difference
  • Valid Australian working visa.
