Scarlet Homecare is a registered NDIS, DVA, Aged Care and Vaccination/Immunization service provider, serving participants in Adelaide and surrounds. We are a rapidly expanding, home support organisation serving people from all walks of life with varied care needs, in the comfort of their own home, whilst maintaining a high safety standard.
About this Role
We are looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to provide support to participants residing in Adelaide and surrounding suburbs. Your shifts may range from 1 to 10 hours in duration, during which you may be required to visit participants in various locations across Adelaide to support with personal care, household tasks or social/community engagements.
As a Support Worker at Scarlet Homecare, you will:
- receive in-job training and education (as applicable) to further your knowledge and gain confidence in your role,
- be supported by an experienced home care team,
- have flexible work schedule – allowing you to maintain a great work life balance,
- be paid according to the SCHADS award, and,
- receive fuel contribution for your driving with or between clients.
This is a casual position with opportunity to become part-time/full-time permanent in the future.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Support Worker at Scarlet Homecare, you will be visiting the homes of NDIS and DVA participants in Adelaide and surrounding suburbs, to provide the support that they require to be independent and integrate into society. The duties that you undertake may vary throughout the day, between participants. We are seeking highly motivated Support Workers who are enthusiastic about working with people with disability and are eager to learn about various aspects of community care.
Job Requirement
To apply for this position, you must have relevant certification in community and disability care. Additionally, you must have;
- Minimum Certificate III in Disability or other relevant qualification
- Unrestricted Driver's license and personal car (fuel contribution provided)
- COVID-19 vaccination records
- 2 professional work referees
- Have ongoing set availability for a minimum of 3 days per week
- Current Manual Handling Certificate
- First Aid and CPR certificate preferable
- Right to work in Australia
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an NDIS worker check and police clearance prior to joining Scarlet Homecare.
