Karma Support Services' is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Adelaide, SA 5000. As a casual Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals living with disabilities or in need of aged care support.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing personalised care and assistance to clients in their homes or within the community
  • Helping with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Engaging clients in social and recreational activities to promote their wellbeing and independence
  • Documenting client progress and communicating effectively with the wider care team
  • Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

  • A genuine passion for supporting the elderly and individuals with disabilities
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the aged and disability support sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
  • A current driver's license and access to reliable transportation
