About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic & experienced Operations Administrator to work in our Lytton Depot. The successful applicant will work closely with our general freight staff and finance teams and be responsible for a mix of accounts and administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for employment in a fast-paced, essential industry that is experiencing continued growth.

Reporting directly to the Depot Manager, Administration Manager, General Freight Management, the responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting the Lytton Depot in the receipt and despatch paperwork
  • Raising and Receipting purchase orders as required
  • Processing of completed delivery dockets ready for and invoicing as required
  • Providing general administrative and clerical support to the depot team
  • Assisting with driver paperwork, timesheets, and compliance documentation
  • Processing invoices, purchase orders
  • Liaising with internal teams and external customers and suppliers
  • Filing, document control, and maintaining accurate records

Roster

  • Monday ? Friday working
    roster, however, for the
    right candidate we will consider part time
  • Flexible working hours
    are available, including options such as school hours or early start/early
    finish schedules, subject to the operational requirements of General
    Freight activities

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an accounts/administration role (transport or similar industry is a bonus)
  • Familiarity with accounting systems
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality
