Grid Electrics Group is an Australian-owned renewable energy company delivering commercial solar, battery storage, EV charging, and microgrid solutions. We work with councils, businesses, and communities to deliver practical, cost-effective projects that support the transition to clean energy.

The Role

We're looking for a Project Manager to oversee renewable energy installations in across the state, including solar farms, rooftop PV systems, and hybrid solutions. This role will involve coordinating with our in-house engineers, electricians, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

This is a hands-on position—you'll be expected to visit sites, liaise directly with clients, and resolve issues quickly as they arise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of solar and renewable energy projects.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and local councils.
  • Conduct regular site visits to track progress and ensure WHS compliance.
  • Report on project milestones and risks to management and clients.
  • Support tender responses and assist with development applications (where required).

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years' experience in project management (construction, electrical, or renewable energy preferred).
  • Trade background (electrical) or engineering qualification highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards, CEC requirements, and WHS obligations.
  • Comfortable working on regional projects with occasional travel.
