Customer Service Officer, Queensland Health

We are looking for a Customer Service Officer to join our team to provide support that enables the delivery of a customer-focused Payroll Service to clients of the Queensland Health rostering and payroll solution.
Our team is a contact centre that support customers across Queensland with payroll system access such as myHR. Our hours of operation are 7 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Our team handle a high volume of calls in a complex environment, in addition the team is also responsible for processing reports and provisioning user access.
This role incorporates high levels of data entry, multi-tasking and providing excellent customer service and demonstrated ability to work as a team and take initiative. The ideal candidate should have experience within a contact centre environment and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with computers and data processing would be desirable.
Once your application is received it will be reviewed by a panel that includes the Team Leader and experts in the field of our Payroll and Rostering Service Desk.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
- Ability to take high volumes of inbound enquiries via multiple pathways (phone, email etc) in a customer service or help desk environment.
- Knowledge or understanding of payroll and rostering systems processes and procedures.
- Interpersonal communication skills with all levels of staff in a large organisation, particularly including the capacity to summarise complex information and gather detailed information.
- Ability to work within a team environment and to meet regular established deadlines within designated timeframes to ensure team outcomes are achieved.
- Understanding of, and commitment to, quality customer services in a large multi-disciplinary organisation.
