Our client is a major global Hotel Group with a substantial footprint in Australia, coupled with an ambitious growth strategy over the next 5+ years.
We are seeking a senior Procurement executive ideally with an understanding of the Hotel /Travel/Hospitality sector, to lead the procurement team based in Melbourne's Inner North in supporting the ongoing business, as well as its future development strategy including both managed and franchised properties.
You will be experienced in developing a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned to the overall business objectives and covering both Direct and Indirect categories. You will also be skilled in supplier sourcing and negotiations and leading your team to achieve positive, 'win, win' outcomes. An understanding of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) and OS&E ( Operating Supplies and Equipment) will be highly valued.
Equally importantly you will exhibit an accountable, commercial and collaborative approach to your team, colleagues and suppliers.
