A-Grade Electrician – Hud Elec Ballarat (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Work locally in the Ballarat region

Hud Elec Ballarat is expanding and we're looking for a detail-driven A-Grade Electrician who specialises in residential service, maintenance, and renovations. We pride ourselves on delivering premium customer service and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients. We also work closely with Beacon Lighting as a preferred electrician.


About the Role

You'll be completing a wide range of residential electrical work, including:

  • General lighting and power
  • Renovations and extensions
  • Switchboards and consumer mains
  • Fault finding and repairs
  • Sheds
  • Air conditioners
  • CCTV
  • EV chargers
  • Identifying upsell opportunities (smoke alarms, safety switches, damaged switches/power points)
  • Working both independently and the ability to teach and lead an apprentice when needed

With plans to expand into the renewables sector, we aim to offer our valued customers more services that they can depend on.


What We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and genuinely cares about customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
  • Current driver's licence
  • Experience in residential service, maintenance, and renovations
  • Great organisational skills
  • Strong note-taking, photo documentation, and record-keeping
  • Computer literate and able to use ServiceM8 (training provided if needed)
  • Comfortable working autonomously and unsupervised
  • Able to lead and guide an apprentice
  • A solid understanding of current electrical standards
  • Actively looks for safety, compliance, and upsell opportunities
  • Police Check & Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Australian residents only – must be local to Ballarat
