The Opportunity

Our client, one of Australia's most respected construction groups and consistently rated a top place to work, is seeking a skilledPower BI Analyst to join their Melbourne team. The Role

As a Power BI Analyst, you'll play a critical role in developing and managing reporting solutions that inform decisions at every level of the business. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, clean and model data, and deliver clear, actionable insights through intuitive dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and improve data visibility
  • Perform data modelling, cleaning, and transformation to ensure high-quality, usable datasets
  • Provide insights and recommendations that support strategic and operational decisions
  • Work alongside technical teams on data integration, with Mulesoft experience highly desirable

About You

You'll bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in Power BI analytics and dashboard development
  • Strong skills in data modelling, transformation, and visualisation
  • Experience working directly with business users to define reporting needs
  • Confidence working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Mulesoft (highly desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A passion for clean data, clear visuals, and continuous improvement
