PlanningAI is an exciting startup trusted by 40+ architecture, design and town planning firms across NSW. We automate time-consuming planning reports and feasibility assessments — and users love us for saving them hours and improving accuracy.
We're a bootstrapped, profitable startup currently led by a solo founder. We've proven demand. Now we're ready to scale — and we need a dedicated sales weapon to drive growth
The Role
As our Founding Sales Executive, you'll own the sales funnel — from booking and delivering demos to closing deals and ensuring customers stay for the long haul. You'll be the first hire, working directly with the founder and helping shape how we grow.
This role begins part-time (20 hours/week) for a 1–3 month trial, then moves to full-time if targets are hit.
Key responsibilities:
- Follow up inbound and outbound leads
- Conduct 1-on-1 product demos via Google Meet
- Convert trials into paying clients
- Support onboarding and ensure users stay for 3+ months
- Help refine and track the sales process as we grow

What You'll Need
- 3+ years in B2B SaaS sales
- Confidence running full sales cycles and closing over Google Meet
- Proven track record of hitting sales targets
- Strong communication skills — written and verbal
- Self-motivation and accountability — you'll be driving growth from Day 1
- Based in NSW, with ability to meet in the Blue Mountains occasionally

Pay: $70,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
