About the Company:

Complete Belting Solutions Pty Ltd is an Australian conveyor and asset maintenance management company that manufactures and supplies products and services to industrial, quarry and mine sites across Australia.

We also have subsidiary businesses in other industries.

We are looking for a competent, highly organised and reliable Operations Administrator to engage in various administrative functions including operational, sales and senior management support across these businesses.

Based at our head office, this position will suit applicants with previous administration experience that thrive in a fast-paced environment, are incredibly organised, are proactive problem-solvers and have exceptional attention to detail. The ability to work autonomously and take initiative is essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out day to day administration tasks including ordering, record management, logistics, internal and external communications (phone and email), data entry and management, etc
  • Database management
  • Deal with local and international vendors
  • Deal with customers across our businesses
  • Preparation of quotations
  • Assisting in resource organisation and allocation
  • Travel management
  • Facilities management, including troubleshooting IT issues and organisation of maintenance and repairs to premises, plant and equipment across multiple branches
  • Learning the basic responsibilities of other admin team members so as to be a support resource in the event of staff absences
  • Providing support to the management team
  • Providing support to the sales and service teams, including report preparation
  • Adhoc tasks as required

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience in a similar role, with the ability to undertake a range of administrative tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency in accounting software (esp. MYOB)
  • High level of initiative and the ability to work autonomously
  • A willingness to be held accountable and take ownership of the role
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and work in a flexible and methodical way
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Strong team player
  • Current drivers licence
