About this work area
The Lean Ways of Working (WoW) initiative is part of Job 9 - Simplicity and is led by the Market Operations Lean team. Our mission is to empower co-workers to eliminate waste in their daily work, which enhances efficiency, reduces costs and improves customer satisfaction. The focus is on building a culture of continuous improvement by enabling teams to work smarter and deliver better outcomes.
The journey starts with a training program to develop the continuous improvement capability in the unit via training, workshops and activities. It is done via a "train to deliver" approach so the operational team can then apply the lean ways of working to the daily operations directly.
The unit Lean Leader plays an important role in driving the country's implementation of Lean ways of working. Therefore, the assignment requires a dynamic leader who can inspire and motivate teams, navigate complex challenges, and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
Who you are
You are a dynamic leader with a passion for continuous improvement and Lean methodologies. You thrive on driving transformation by embedding Lean ways of working across unit-level operations to improve efficiency, eliminate waste, and elevate coworker engagement.
As the unit Lean Leader, you foster a coaching culture that empowers teams to think critically and act efficiently. Your expertise includes training managers in Lean principles, facilitating impactful workshops, and guiding teams through complex change processes with confidence and clarity. You are skilled at identifying operational improvement opportunities, leading process enhancements, and delivering measurable gains in productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading in the unknown, with a proactive mindset and a can-do attitude that inspires action.
Your strong communication and collaboration skills enable you to engage stakeholders at all levels, build trust, and contribute meaningfully to the unit implementation of Lean initiatives.
