Tempe, Australia IKEA Full time

WHO YOU ARE

You are a seasoned Digital Project Leader with a proven track record leading digital projects.

You are someone who is passionate about the possibilities that technology can bring to organisations and understand that digital capabilities are only as good as we make them. You have an appreciation for Agile ways of working and digital product development, but your passion lies in launching digital capabilities. You will thrive working cross-functionally, partnering with business functions to drive adoption of new capabilities, amongst our co-workers and customers, realising commercial benefits, and most importantly delivering high quality products.

You possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, keeping the right people informed, at the right time, for the projects you lead. Comfortable working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, you lead from behind, empowering project teams to lead their own agenda, all whilst managing scope, risk, budgets and timelines for project success. You have a “can do” attitude, and your natural enthusiasm and energy for digital is infectious, inspiring those around you to really lean into the digital agenda.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Digital Project Leader you are responsible for planning, driving and delivery digital product launches and projects. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
- Exploring centrally developed digital products and assessing them for country readiness and suitability
- Once prioriotised, setting up your projects up for success through well-defined scope, objectives, and effective kick-offs
- Assembling the relevant cross-functional participants for digital projects you lead, ensuring roles & responsibilities are clear
- Ensuring work packages and technical dependencies are ready to execute for launch, working closely with Group Digital
- Keep your Digital Portfolio Leader informed of any risk, issues or challenges associated with your digital projects
- Work with relevant Product teams to resolve major incidents in flow, or local limitations with capabilities
- Working with JIRA, keep track of status and progress of projects, communicating to affected stakeholders
- Project reporting, keeping on top of milestones, measuring, and following up project quality, performance and success
- Partner within your function to continually optimise and improve the way of working for digital product launches
- Document and transfer knowledge gained amongst your counterparts in other markets, collaborating at scale
- Involvement in market expansion projects, leading the digital components of these projects
