ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Delivery Officer - Agile to help coordinate and optimise delivery activities across multiple Agile teams. This role will work closely with senior delivery leaders to keep the program on track, aligned, and focused on outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Provide coordination and administrative support to delivery leadership, ensuring teams remain aligned across the broader delivery framework.
  • Assist in planning and executing Program Increment (PI) events, including managing logistics, capturing key actions, and ensuring all deliverables are clearly documented and communicated.
  • Support Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, team syncs, leadership forums, showcases, and retrospectives.
  • Administer and configure Azure DevOps, including setting up iterations, managing work items, applying standards, maintaining queries/tags, and producing dashboards and reports.
  • Track delivery progress, surfacing risks, blockers, or changes in scope/timing, and ensure these are addressed through the correct governance channels.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality program documentation, including briefings, decision papers, presentations, progress summaries, and health checks.
  • Monitor Agile metrics (e.g., burn-up charts, cumulative flow) to assess delivery health and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with risk, schedule, and dependency management specialists to ensure issues are raised early and managed transparently.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and help sustain delivery momentum through effective collaboration and structured planning.

MORE ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience supporting or administering programs/projects, ideally in an Agile environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, iterative delivery setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, briefings, and governance artefacts.
  • High attention to detail and capability in quality assurance for documentation and presentations.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with colleagues to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate and negotiate confidently across all levels.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery principles and familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices and artefacts.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps for backlog management, query creation, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and develop effective communication approaches.
