Job Description
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Partnerships Coordinator to join our Corporate Affairs team on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of the Racing WA Community Fund, ensuring meaningful support is provided to regional community groups and grassroots organisations in areas with a close association to racing. You will play a pivotal role in fostering strong community relationships, tracking and reporting the impact of funded initiatives, and helping to promote positive stories through media and communications support.
You will also assist the Corporate Affairs team more broadly across media relations, stakeholder engagement, and administrative activities as part of RWWA's broad reputation and advocacy strategy.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Administering and coordinating quarterly Racing WA Community Fund grant rounds.
- Supporting community groups and grassroots organisations with funding applications.
- Maintaining accurate records of applications, approvals, and allocations.
- Tracking, reporting, and showcasing the impact of funded initiatives.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with community partners.
- Supporting events and engagement activities linked to the Racing WA Community Fund.
- Drafting and distributing media releases, website copy, and social media content.
- Assisting the Corporate Affairs team with communications and stakeholder engagement.
This is a dynamic role for someone who is passionate about community impact, relationship-building, and storytelling.
Qualifications
About You
You are an enthusiastic and motivated professional who thrives on connecting with diverse stakeholders and making a positive difference in the community. You can balance administrative precision with creative communication, and enjoy working collaboratively while also managing tasks independently.
You will bring:
- Experience in community funds, grants administration, or partnerships.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
- Demonstrated experience in communications, media, or public relations (desirable).

Why Join Us?

We offer:
- Impact and purpose – support grassroots organisations and make a meaningful difference across WA.
- Flexibility that works for you – hybrid work options, flexible hours, and modern collaborative spaces.
