Hills Tankers Brisbane due to business growth, is looking for suitable candidates to become part of our scheduling team.

The position is based in Pinkenba on an attractive even time shift roster.

Your main tasks will be but not limited to the below

Duties

  • Ensure safe, cost effective and reliable deliveries to retail and mine sites in SE QLD and Northern NSW.
  • Meet and exceed customers expectations at all times.
  • Ensure optimum configurations are utilised for each delivery.
  • Establish and manage relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Responsible and accountable for a safe working environment reporting any safety incidents or concerns to your supervisor and following all procedures at all times.
  • Encourage and promote Hills Tankers culture at all times ensuring a positive, safe work environment for all.
  • Be responsible for out of hours calls from other depots when on shift.

Skills and Experience

  • Fleet allocation experience
  • Sound geographical knowledge of Brisbane, SE Qld and Northern NSW areas.
  • Mechanical knowledge an advantage
  • Strong people management skills
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage/lead staff and delegate tasks effectively
  • Computer skills is a must.
