As the WA/SA Logistics Coordinator, you will work closely with Dispatch, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Production to ensure orders are on track to meet the required timeline and customers are updated accordingly with the delivery plan. You are the conduit between customer service, logistics and external service providers [Freight Forwarders and transport companies] ensuring information flows freely and customer needs are anticipated and actioned pro-actively whilst assisting the WA/SA Logistics operations teams as required.
KEY EFFECTIVENESS AREAS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the order/paperwork flow within the dispatch office.
2. Control the cycle count process within the warehouse
3. Support the Logistics Operations team as required with QA, picking, loading and unloading tasks [if required].
4. Work with Forwarders and transport companies to ensure all interbranch and freight out bookings are made in advance and as required.
5. Continuously monitor WA and SA inventory requirements and issue transfer and purchase orders accordingly.
6. Be accountable, collaborate with all departments and engage the workforce.
7. Update the system (NetSuite) with the picking status.
8. Provide timely communication to both external and internal customers and ensure service level agreements are met
9. Handle inbound calls to the dispatch office
10. Engage with customers/drivers that come into the dispatch office for pickups and guide them accordingly
11. Handle the end-to-end case management process for WA/SA Logistics.
12. Support the Logistics Manager/Supervisor and other leaders in the logistics team where required.
13. Coordinate the overall inventory and transport requirements to achieve a DIFOT rate over 97%.
14. Coordinate overall cost reduction programs for interbranch and freight out cost categories.

1. Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, especially relating to personal employee information, financial details and customer/supplier details.
2. Be accountable for your time.
3. Understand and maintain correct protocols and standard operating procedures (SOP's) when interacting with other team members, customers and suppliers.

2. Abide by communication protocol for all Studco Team members.
3. Email & phone calls must be responded to promptly
4. Manage time in an effective manner, such that all tasks are done in specific and agreed time frames each day.
5. As a logistics professional you are given access to confidential information. Any breach of trust will be regarded seriously & addressed in an appropriate manner by the management team. Abide by the Studco confidentiality agreement as contained within the Studco Employee Handbook.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Preferred knowledge:
years' experience in a logistics and operations coordinator role
2. Forklift license (preferred)
3. Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products with high level skills in Excel.
4. Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
5. NetSuite experience would be highly considered.
6. Exposure to high paced work environment will be an advantageous
