ABOUT US
We started Bakemono(bah-keh-mo-no) Bakers back in with no experience - in a space smaller than many bedrooms. Back then we underestimated just how hard it was to make good croissants. A year later, we moved into our garage-turned-bakery in Drewery Lane - pushing into late nights chasing better croissants one click at a time.
You see, it was never about being number one. It was just about the pure desire to grow from the deep inside questioning day after day after day - How do we make it better?
Today, we still ask the same question in the hopes that our work will bring a small sense of joy and magic into the everyday lives of our customers. And we are going to keep pushing ourselves like monsters to make this happen so we can do it all over again - Internationally

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for skilled Bakers and Pastry chefs who thrive on challenges and are growth driven.
- Full time 38 hours per week plus reasonable hours
- $ $29.53/hour based on skill and expectation fulfilment
- Shift starts 5:30-6:00am / 8-10 hours per day
- Annual leave and other award entitlements

You have
- Minimum 1 year experience in professional bakery environment
- Full working rights in Australia - Sponsorship is not available

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Everything related to making viennoiserie products
- Dough mixing
- Laminating
- Proofing and baking
- Prep jams, custard and other fillings
- Finishing off pastries and products
Everything related to building and being a part of a great team
- Be reliable and trustworthy
- Know what it means to communicate effectively
- And of course - Cleaning
