About the company:
Our client is an Australian general insurer offering motor vehicle insurance under Toyota Insurance, Lexus Insurance and Powertorque Insurance brands. Rapidly growing, they are establishing a new sales and retention function within the business and looking for an experienced Manager to join the team.
The Opportunity:
A newly created role, the Sales and Retention Manager will lead a new team of 4, with plans to expand and lead this function in the business.
This role will ensure that the right people, processes, and systems are in place to provide best-in-class sales and retention. It will also work with key internal and external stakeholders to develop and oversee sales strategies, roll out campaigns, and drive sales.
In addition, you will work closely alongside the Head of Service Operations to provide support and ensure everything is running smoothly.
About you:
This is a unique role in an ever-changing environment so you will be naturally resilient, adapt well to change but also be people-focused.
- Proven leadership experience in sales and retention teams is essential.
- A background in sales insurance is key
- Ability to coach, develop and performance manage
- Have an analytical mind and can make quick decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- A strong team player who likes to add value where they work
- Resilient and pick up systems and processes quickly
