About You
You're ready to transition from the corporate world or are already in a smaller firm and prefer hands-on roles within boutique-sized organisations that are evolving and expanding. Reinsurance experience is essential, and technical accounting should be second nature to you.
We're seeking a skilled professional to join our Account Operations team, supporting reinsurance claims and technical account processing. In this role, you'll also share your expertise with a growing team of eager learners, contributing to their development and the firm's continued success.
We work from our offices in the iconic Australia Square building from Monday - Thursday with the option to work from home or the office on Fridays.

The Role
- Manage reinsurance claims administration and processing on a treaty, proportional and non-proportional basis
- Manage account reconciliation process for various clients
- Oversee credit control and client(s) debtors' position
- Manage Fac and Treaty premium difference within Terms of Trade agreements as required.
- Manage end to end collection and invoicing processing within agreed SLA's.
- Assist in the uploading of bordereaux's as required.
- Prepare, review, and sign off on end of month and quarterly reporting to clients.
- Review and manage unallocated cash.
- Present technical capability to prospective clients.
- Manage complex external enquiries as required.
- Deliver on agreed operational services within SLA's.
- Assist in the initial onboarding discussions with potential new clients.
- Build strong relationships with clients at all levels of the organisation.
- Respond to all client enquires in a timely and professional manner. This includes third parties associated with the client, ie. Brokers, Underwriters etc.
- Assist in preparation for internal audit.
- Operate within approved delegation.
- Participate in all Team meetings and one on one discussions with respective manager.
- Participate in annual performance review process.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- 6 + years working in a similar environment.
- Reinsurance experience is essential
- Underwriting or claims management experience required
- Strong M365 capability
