Operations Coordinator – Oil& Gas / Operations

The Opportunity:

The Operations Coordinator is essential for overseeing national freight movements for our tier 1 Oil & Gas customer. Freight movements could be via road, air, or sea ensuring we are deliver a top service to our customer. This role serves as the primary escalation point for the customer for their freight movements, ensuring seamless logistics services and being front face to the customer.

Key responsibilities include booking in freight with contractor's interstate and following the shipment from pickup to delivery to the customer and providing updates, utilising digital manifest systems for accurate documentation and tracking. We seek a motivated individual for our Largs North facility who is dedicated to safety and continuous improvement in logistics operations.

We provide:

Monday to Friday, 07.00AM to 04.00PM (Plus reasonable overtime when required)

About You:

To be a people person with good communication skills

Experience with moving freight nationally using multiple modes of transport

You have experience in a similar role and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service

A solid knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements

Can work effectively with computers, manifesting and related apps/software

Knowledge of dangerous goods would be an advantage, but not a requirement.

A commitment to safety and applying safe-working practices
