We're expanding our team

Beaumonde Homes is seeking a talented and versatile Interior Designer to join our growing team. This is a full-time opportunity to work directly with one of Perth's leading residential builders, guiding clients through every stage of their design journey from prestart selections and 3D visualisations to post-handover styling.

You'll play a key role in shaping the interiors of our custom homes, delivering cohesive and beautifully detailed design packages that bring our clients' visions to life.

About the Role

You'll manage the full design process for residential builds, including:

  • External selections: roofing, windows, bricks, render, cladding, garage doors, paving, screening, balustrades and fencing
  • Internal finishes: flooring, tiling, cabinetry, benchtops, paint schedules, feature walls/ceilings, door hardware and balustrades Tapware and plumbing selections across all wet areas
  • 3D visualisations using SketchUp or similar software to help clients visualise their spaces
  • Preparation of clear, detailed documentation, including marked-up plans, specifications and tile/finish schedules
  • Conducting client consultations to refine design concepts, present samples, and provide professional advice on layout, joinery, lighting and styling
  • Administrative tasks, including accurately recording and uploading client selections, specifications and design notes into our construction management software
  • Assist the construction administration team when required, ensuring selections, variations and documentation are aligned throughout the build process.
  • Supporting post-handover styling, including furniture layouts, soft furnishings, window treatments and décor for clients choosing a full turnkey service
  • Collaborating closely with clients, suppliers, trades and the Beaumonde Homes team to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience from start to finish
About You

You're an experienced and passionate designer who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment. You'll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Interior Design.
  • 3+ years' experience in residential design, ideally within the building industry.
  • Excellent understanding of building processes, materials and finishes.
  • Confident presentation and client communication skills.
  • A creative yet practical approach, balancing aesthetics with functionality and budget.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to produce trade-ready documentation and maintain accurate project records.
  • Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in SketchUp (or similar 3D visualisation software), construction/design documentation tools, and Adobe Creative Suite / Canva (InDesign, Photoshop).
