Mowing & Growing Pty Ltd, a long-established, family-owned business servicing the Central Coast's most prestigious properties, is seeking a motivated Head Gardener / Team Leader to guide our team and deliver outstanding results.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading a garden maintenance crew (with an assistant) across acreage, residential, and commercial properties
  • Overseeing daily schedules, work quality, and safety practices
  • Carrying out hands-on gardening tasks including mowing (hand and ride-on), edging, whipper-snipping, pruning, planting, and hedge trimming
  • Organising job sites, tools, and equipment for efficient workflows
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff to build their skills and confidence
  • Communicating with clients and business owners to ensure gardens are maintained to the highest standard

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience in garden maintenance and/or horticulture
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Current full driver's licence (essential) – manual driving and trailer towing required
  • Strong plant knowledge and practical experience in pruning and garden clean-ups
  • Physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather (including wet conditions)
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-first approach
  • Professional, organised, and committed to maintaining high standards
