Assistant Gardener

Mowing & Growing Pty Ltd, a family-owned business servicing the Central Coast's most prestigious properties, is seeking a reliable Assistant Gardener to support our Head Gardener and maintenance crew. No prior experience is necessary — just a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting the Head Gardener and crew with daily garden maintenance across acreage, residential, and commercial properties
  • Learning hands-on gardening skills including mowing, edging, whipper-snipping, hedge trimming, planting, pruning, and garden clean-ups
  • Helping with setup and pack-down of tools, trailers, and equipment
  • Following directions and safe work practices on site
  • Working outdoors in all conditions (including wet weather) as part of a supportive team

What We're Looking For

  • No experience required — however, experience in gardening or landscaping will be looked upon favourably
  • Physically fit, dependable, and willing to work outdoors
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take instruction
  • Driver's licence preferred (manual driving and trailer towing ability a bonus)
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to doing quality work

What We Offer

  • Competitive casual rate: $24.29 – $31.00 per hour (depending on skills and licence/towing ability)
