Position Summary.
We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance Manager to lead and evolve our financial operations at Infinity Support Services.
This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll oversee the full spectrum of financial management – from budgeting and payroll to financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning. You'll work closely with the Executive Team to ensure our financial systems support sustainable growth and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes to support sound decision-making
- Oversee cost accounting and ensure accurate revenue/expense tracking using Xero
- Partner with executive Team for year-end financials, tax returns, and audits
- An understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures as they apply to financial management and audit requirements.
- Deliver timely and insightful management reports, including service-level P&L analysis
- Ensure services are delivered within budget through regular hours-of-service and cost monitoring
- Oversee end-to-end payroll for 150+ staff, ensuring SCHADS Award compliance
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, and debt recovery systems
- Maintain employer obligations including PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax compliance
- Lead and develop finance department
- Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation in financial processes
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and clarity.
Accounts receivable and billing
- Prepare debtor invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist with NDIS portal billing using Proda and ensure claims are consistent with service bookings.
- Maintain debtor records and provide support with follow-up of outstanding amounts. Update weekly rent schedules and direct debit schedules.
Banking and reconciliations
- Process daily banking tasks, including internal transfers and deposits.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and end-of-month reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of monthly trial balance reconciliations.
Accounts payable – Back-up duties
Provide back-up support for Accounts Payable during staff leave, including creditor invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations
Essential:
thrive in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Finance or Accounts Management role
- Demonstrated expertise in payroll management and SCHADS Award interpretation
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
- 2–3 years of experience in NDIS financial operations highly regarded
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across diverse teams
- Proven capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
