Operations Manager

About Us:
Since 2013, Little Stars Early Learning Centre has been delivering exceptional early childhood education across Victoria. Our commitment to quality care and inspiring environments has driven our rapid expansion, and we are now seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to take our success to the next level.

About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record in multi-site operations. This is a strategic and hands-on role overseeing centres in Shepparton, Sunbury, Melton, and Mill Park, ensuring each meets KPIs and reflects the values of Little Stars. You'll lead Centre Directors, drive operational excellence, and foster a thriving culture across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

· Field Leadership: Conduct weekly visits to centres, lead effective meetings, and support Directors and Kinder Teachers.

· Maximise Profitability: Increase occupancy rates, manage labour efficiently, and improve centre performance.

· Lead & Inspire: Mentor Centre Directors and teams to create high- performing, positive workplaces.

· Foster Culture: Champion recognition, teamwork, and diversity.

· HR Oversight: Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff retention.

· Complaint Resolution: Handle escalated family concerns promptly and professionally.

· Financial Management: Monitor P&L reports, manage debt recovery, and coordinate with finance, payroll, and contractors.

· Marketing Support: Work with Directors and marketing partners to deliver impactful campaigns.

· Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with government bodies, ensuring all approvals are obtained.

What We're Looking For:

· Minimum 2 years' experience in multi-site management (preferably in early childhood or related industries).

· Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret P&L statements.

· Proactive problem-solver with initiative and urgency.

· Highly organised leader who achieves results through people.
