Sales Support/Order Processing Role

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of our sales support team you are working closely with our sales team and will play a fundamental part in making sure incoming orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner. With your natural ability and strong communication skills, you will establish a good rapport with our customers. You are always customer-orientated and enjoy dealing with people. Your profile is rounded off by a careful and structured way of working.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Taking on all order-related tasks from the acceptance, creation and recording of customer orders to the further monitoring of the order and delivery status in the merchandise management system
  • Follow up on order delivery
  • Responsibility for the smooth processing of orders and handover to order dispatch
  • Contact person for our customers on all order-related topics
  • Co-operation with relevant internal interfaces, e.g. accounting, scheduling and logistics
  • Customer correspondence by e-mail and telephone
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • General sales processing and administration

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven sales support/order processing experience
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Experience working in a high-volume, target-driven sales environment
  • Strong MS Office suite skills
  • Experience work with a CRM
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Sage
  • PV industry experience is an advantage
  • Right to work in Australia is a must have
